Middle School Athletics

Eno River Academy is proud to offer athletic opportunities to it’s students at the middle school level. Interscholastic athletics help our student-athletes develop important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship and perseverance. It is our goal to produce students who will go on to succeed not only in athletics, but in all aspects of life.

In middle school our athletes compete against many local private schools (Durham Academy, Duke School, Trinity, Triangle Day, Carolina Friends, Emerson Waldorf). In the fall we offer boys soccer, girls volleyball and boys and girls cross country. In the winter we offer boys and girls basketball (7th and 8th grade only) and cheer. In the spring we offer girls soccer and boys baseball.

In order to be eligible for athletic participation all student-athletes must have a current physical examination, concussion form, and athletic participation form on file in Mr. Ogilvie’s office. They must also have paid our school athletic fee that will be used to help the school cover the cost of athletics. If you have any questions regarding ERA athletics, please contact Norm Ogilvie at
