Lunch Donations

We would love to invite families who are inclined to donate a hot lunch to help out any students who may have forgotten or are unable to purchase lunch here at school. You can do this by adding an additional lunch to your order for the office!

Clothing Drive – Last week to donate!

The Children’s Clothing Closet would love your donations of gently used clothing and shoes to benefit families in need. Sizes in most need are: 6 up through youth 18 and shoe sizes child 12 through adult 8. Collection bins are in the main office and will be there through October 13!

Caramel Apple Bar Teacher Appreciation:

With your help, we would love to treat our teachers to a caramel apple bar on Friday, October 27.  Sign up here and drop off items to Mrs. Triplett or Ms. Moore in the front office by Thursday, October 26.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristin Martin at kmartin@enoriveracademy.org. Bells this week:

Due to the change in wifi, we will not have bells this week. Please be reminded of the daily bell schedule and Friday’s early release bell schedule. Click here for the bell schedules.

1st Quarter Grades:

Grades will be due Tuesday, October 24 at 12pm. Report cards will be distributed in CATS on Friday, October 27.

Spirit Week and Homecoming:

Spirit Week is October 30-November 3! Followed by the Fall dance on November 4th from 7pm-10pm.

  • Monday: Costume day

  • Tuesday: No School (except for those taking the test)

  • Wednesday: Pajama Day

  • Thursday: Twin Day

  • Friday: ERA School Spirit Day.

The Dance is November 4th, 7-10pm.

Trunk or Treat:

The high school National Honors Society will be hosting their second annual Trunk or Treat in the lower school parking lot on October 28th from 2 to 4pm. Please come out and either decorate a trunk or just come trunk or treat. If you want to sign up to decorate a trunk, please fill out the form below. We are also asking for candy donations so that clubs and other organizations don’t have to purchase it all out of their club funds. If you want to donate candy, there will be a bin set up in the front office of the high school from September 5th to October 26th.

Peer Tutoring by National Honor Society:

Students may sign up for peer tutoring during lunches using this form.

Yearbook Updates:

  • Submit your photos for the yearbook! We need photos of:

    • Fall Fun! (Pumpkin patches, pumpkin carving, apple picking, corn mazes, haunted houses, etc)

    • Students in their extracurricular activities

    • Students at their jobs/internships/volunteer work

    • Pet photos

    • Traveling/Vacations/Summer Adventures

  • To submit your photos for the yearbook this year, email photos to yearbook@enoriveracademy.org. Please include the first and last names and grade levels for all students pictured and a short description for each photo submitted.

October Board of Directors Meeting and Retreat:

The next board meeting will be October 24 and will be held via zoom. A link will be provided at a later date.

Community Connections:

Community Connections Yearly Calendar: The Community Connections group of teachers and parents aims to work hard behind the scenes to support the caring and engaged community we have. This calendar is an overview of what happens on campus throughout the year (subject to change). Watch the weekly email updates for Sign-up Genius links and other information about these events if you would like to attend or help out!

UNC Chapel Hill Virtual Visit

UNC will be holding a special session just for our seniors to talk about the upcoming application process. This will be held on Wednesday, October 11th at 11:45AM and will take up the lunch period. Please join on the zoom at https://unc.zoom.us/j/92858808276.
