Drop-Off and Dismissal Reminders

Good evening,

We are excited to welcome your student(s) tomorrow morning!! Here are a couple of things to keep in mind for drop-off and dismissal.
1. Drop-off begins at 7:30 am and not before. Students must remain in their car until a staff member is outside under the awning.
2. There is only one line in the morning and it is the lane closest to the building. Make sure your child is ready to get out and doesn’t need to put their shoes on etc. Please handle that before getting in line.
3. Only Kindergarten families can walk their students in on Thursday and Friday. Beginning on Monday, they will need to be dropped off in the car line.
4. If your child has forgotten where to go, we will help them find their way and get their supplies to their classroom as well. We will be there to comfort your anxious or crying child. It only gets easier for them if you let us handle it from the beginning.
5. In the afternoon, please use two lines beginning at the orange cones. We prefer older students in the outside lane and younger ones closest to the building. Use your best judgment in order to keep the line moving but do not change lanes unless directed to do so.
6. If your child is in a car seat or booster, please load them in the car and pull up and off the road to buckle them in.
7. In the afternoon, please use the car tags that you were given and make sure that all of your children are listed including grade level. Do not remove it until all of your children are in your car.
8. Remember that there are children all around so please be cautious when driving in the line and parking lot.
9. If your child is not picked up by 3:30 pm, they will go to afterschool and you can pick them up there. Keep in mind that you will be charged for this service. Reach out to our afterschool director, Heather Cobbs if you have questions about the program. Her email is asp@enoriveracademy.org.
And lastly, please be patient! The first week or so tends to be longer than usual until students learn the procedures. After that, it moves fairly quickly.
See you all tomorrow morning!
Lisa
