Pictured above: Hayley King, 12th grade

This is her 4th year volunteering for Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child,in Boone NC, processing shoeboxes to be shipped to children in orphanages in poor countries all over the world! She was inspecting boxes that the people send to the processing center. Hayley is always amazed with some items that people pack in the shoeboxes. (Here in this particular box is a handmade knitted hat & an angel toy.) ERA is proud to have Hayley!

Walmart and Target gift cards are best so that families can purchase food, clothing and/or gifts. Thank you for your generosity. If you are in need and would like to be included, please email me directly. Your information will be kept confidential.

ERA has a new school-based therapist! Kelly Hoskins (Renaissance Wellness Group) will be meeting with referred students here at school, starting on Thursdays and expanding if there is more need. You may also see her trained therapy dog, Remi! School-based therapy is a new service at ERA where the therapist comes here to the school so that students don’t need to leave campus. If you are interested in learning more about this service, please contact Ms. Harkey at pharkey@enoriveracademy.org.

Remi will be here in the front office for some of the day Thursday if any students need a quick boost around exams. 🙂 Interaction with Remi is totally voluntary, constantly supervised by Kelly, and will never be forced upon students.
