HS Weekly Update 2/28/22

I hope you all had a great weekend.  Just a friendly reminder that Tuesday, March 1, is our Service/College day for freshmen and sophomores.  Juniors will be taking the ACT test while select seniors will be finishing up their CPR requirements for graduation.  Only juniors and select seniors should report to school tomorrow, March 1

Upcoming Meetings: All meetings will be held via Zoom and will begin at 5:00 pm. Tonight’s D & I  meeting has been moved to Monday, March 7 at the same time..

Spring Registration Kickoff & Curriculum Fair:  Believe it or not, it’s time to begin thinking about classes for the 2022-2023 school year.  Our registration season launches on Tuesday, March 8 with an overview in CATS time and our Curriculum Fair that evening from 5:30-7. The Curriculum Fair is designed to help students learn more about all of our courses including AP courses along with other high school information such as dual enrollment and college planning. Teacher Appreciation Week: Please join us for a Teacher Appreciation Planning Meeting via Zoom on Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00pm.  If you would like to be involved, but can’t attend the meeting, please feel free to reach out to Kristin Martin at kmartin@enoriveracademy.org for more details. 80’s Dance:  On Saturday, March 26, the Good Works club is sponsoring an 80’s themed dance to raise funds for the ALS Association.  Click here for more information.

Spring Athletics Calendar:  Spring sports launch next week!  Click here for the spring season calendar

Running &Track Club:  Any student interested in joining this club can come out to the first meeting on Wednesday, March 2 at 3:45 in the HS Gym.  Students should bring a change of clothes, and be ready to run! 

From the FCS Club (HS):The Fellowship of Christian Students is hosting an Eno River Academy Color Run! It is a 1 Mile Fun Run and 5K fundraiser including family-friendly activities, explosions of colors, and an amazing opportunity to better our school community. The purpose is to impact and support our community and include everyone who would like to have a day full of fun! Proceeds of this event will support PORCH Hillsborough, an organization committed to fighting hunger in Northern Orange County, and the Fellowship of Christian Students Club.
