HS Weekly Update 2/8/22

High School Students and Families,

I hope you all enjoyed your long weekend. In the past, we have had the Monday after the Super Bowl as a teacher workday. Sadly, that’s not the case this year, but we have rectified that for next year. I hope you all enjoy the fun and festivities next Sunday!

Updates and Information:

Upcoming Meetings: All meetings will be held via Zoom and will begin at 5:00 pm except the Board of Directors meeting which will begin at 5:30 pm in February.

Photos & Smiles Wanted:  Yearbook would love to feature student winter break and snow day adventures as well as any other pictures from this school year. Please submit your photos by clicking here and using ID 416224545.

Valentine Grams:  Our Good Works club is selling Valentine Grams as a fundraiser.  Click here for more information.

Teddy Bear Drive: Our Kids Helping Kids club is holding a teddy bear/stuffed animal drive for the police station. Click here for more information.

2/22/22: A date that can only happen once a century–click here for a flyer for our celebration of 2/22/22, which happens to be a Tuesday!! We will also be honoring our Class of 2022 that day!

Spring Driver’s Ed Class:  The spring session of Driver’s Education will be held March 14-April 1, 2022, meeting Monday through Friday from 4-6 p.m.  Students are expected to attend all classes even if it’s a workday, or there is inclement weather.  Students must be 14.5 years old to register.  Priority is given based on birthdate.  The cost is $50 and must be paid the week of March 7. The deadline to register is March 1. To register, click here to complete the form.

Spring Blood Drive:  Our National Honor Society wants to get your input about hosting a spring blood drive similar to what we hosted in the fall.  Click here to complete a survey if you are willing to participate.

Good News Gazette: Click here for the latest update of our students’ accomplishments.  We had several of our art students to recently place or receive an honorable mention at the 2022 Scholastic Art & Writing Competition.  If you have good news to share, feel free to send it to Dr. Davis.

COVID Reminder:  If your child has tested positive or been exposed, please complete this link immediately. In the past, we have just allowed an email to suffice but we will need additional documentation moving forward. Please notify your child’s teacher(s) as well.
