I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! It’s so hard to believe that there are only 7 Mondays left in 2020 and that Thanksgiving is next week. I hope you are all able to safely celebrate with family and friends. We certainly need them now more than ever.
Here are this week’s updates and reminders:
1. STEAM Activity for November 20: The K-8 campus-wide family STEAM Activity for November 20 is here: STEAM Activity: November 20, 2020. This is an optional activity! This week we are creating our own “I Spy” arrangements! In the instructions is a Padlet link to upload photos of your completed projects. The link may also be shared by your teachers. There will be no STEAM activity next week!
2. First Chapter Friday for November 20: The K-8 campus-wide family First Chapter Friday video for November 20 is here: First Chapter Friday: November 20, 2020. This is an optional video to listen to! This week, Mrs. Stephenson reads from The Mouse and the Motorcycle by Beverly Cleary. The link may also be shared by your teachers. There will be no First Chapter Friday next week!
3. D & I Task Force Group Meeting Nov 23 at 05:00 PM

4. November Board of Directors Meeting: November 19th from 5:00p-7:00p
We are excited to announce that Eno River Academy has teamed up with Original Works to offer an exciting art-based program at our school. Through this program, you will have the opportunity to purchase a variety of products featuring your child’s very own artwork, while also supporting the educational opportunities of the local school community. The deadline to submit artwork and payment is November 30! Please see the attached directions for ordering products as well as the guidelines for your child’s art submission. 5. Thanksgiving Food Drive: The Good Works Club and Tri-M Music Society are sponsoring a Thanksgiving food drive to help needy families in conjunction with the Salvation Army. Click here to learn more about how to support this drive and an informational flyer.
