K8 Weekly Update 11/30/20

Good Morning ERA Families,
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday! I was glad to have a few days to relax and unwind! Just a reminder that today is the last day for your Original Artworks submission. If you need specific information, please contact Mrs. Velasco.
Here are this week’s updates and reminders:

1. Donations for Needy Families: Sadly, our number of needy families has increased this year. If you would like to donate a gift card for those in need, please drop it off at K-8 from 9am-1pm and no later than December 11th. Walmart and Target gift cards are best so that families can purchase food, clothing and/or gifts. Thank you for your generosity. If you are in need and would like to be included, please email me directly. Your information will be kept confidential.

2. STEAM Activity for December 4: The K-8 campus-wide family STEAM Activity for December 4 is linked here. This is an optional activity! We will be designing a natural animal shelter or habitat. In the instructions is a Padlet link to upload photos of your completed projects. The link may also be shared by your teachers.

3. First Chapter Friday for December 4:  The K-8 campus-wide family First Chapter Friday video for December 4 is linked here. This is an optional video to watch! This week, Mrs. Ames will read from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The link may also be shared by your teachers.
