2025-2026 School Year Application Dates

Our lottery application for the 2025-2026 school year will open on January 6, 2025 and remain open until February 21, 2025.

Our lottery for the 2025-2026 school year will be run on February 28, 2025.

Applications for the waitlist will be closed from February 21-March 2, 2025. Waitlist Applications will reopen on March 3, 2025 and will remain open through the end of the calendar year.

Parents, please be advised we will be using a third-party system, Lotterease, to run our enrollment lottery for transparency and fairness. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the parent portal.

Please be advised that if you falsify any information during registration or enrollment, your child’s application will be null and void, and admittance will be revoked. Any applications found to be falsified will be placed at the bottom of the waitlist.

What is the Lotterease Seal of Transparency and Fairness? When you see the Seal on a school website, you can be confident that your application will be included in the school lottery in a fair and transparent way. That is because Lotterease is an independent automated lottery system that the school uses to manage their lottery and waitlist. Since Lotterease is an independent system, the school staff do not have the ability to manipulate or adjust the lottery outcome. They must work within the requirements of the system. In addition, all activity that takes place with your application is tracked in a history log that you can view at any time by logging into the parent portal. If the school you want your child to attend displays the Lotterease Seal of Transparency and Fairness, you can rest assured that you child will get their fair chance to attend the school.

 

Apply for the Lottery or Waitlist 2025-2026 School Year

(For New Applicants)

To Apply:

  1. Visit ERA's page on Lotterease.

  2. Follow the prompts under the Registration tab to create an account.

  3. Add a child and enter them in the lottery for next school year's grade level.

  4. Repeat step #3 for any other children.

  5. All done!

To Check Results or Waitlist Number:

  1. Option 1: Visit ERA's Applicant List on Lotterease and read down the list for your child's entry. Entries are kept confidential and only list the child's initials and the last 4 digits of your phone number. You can use Ctrl+F or a similar search feature to find the listing faster. Your waitlist number will show next to your child's entry.

  2. Option 2: Login to your Lotterease account for ERA. Click your child's name on the left side of the screen to view their lottery entries. Your waitlist number will show next to your child's entry.

  • After the lottery is run , everyone entered will receive an email and a text message if your child was selected, and an email if your child was waitlisted from the Lotterease software.

  • Additional emails will be sent out periodically from the software to select waitlisted positions.

Someone from our Admissions Team will also email you personally if you accepted a spot from the lotteryor waitlist with more detailed instructions and deadlines for enrollment.

Please remember that if you are applying for a spot in 10-12th grades, students need to have met certain criteria with the amount of passed credits they have earned in order to be eligible for that grade level.

10th grade = must have earned at least 6 credits (by the end of the current school year)

11th grade = must have earned at least 12 credits (by the end of the current school year)

12th grade = must have earned at least 20 credits (by the end of the current school year)

Intent to Enroll for Current Families 2025-2026 School Year

For Current Students

Families must complete the “ERA 2025-26 Intent to Enroll” form for each currently enrolled student. The deadline to complete this form is January 31, 2025. Reference the Intent to Return Parent Letter for full directions.

For Siblings of Current Students

Families must complete a Lottery application for each sibling of a currently enrolled student that they would like to try to get a spot at ERA. The deadline to complete the lottery application is February 21, 2025. Reference the Intent to Return Parent Letter for full directions.

2024-2025 School Year Application Dates

Our lottery application for the 2024-2025 school year was open from January 2, 2024 through February 16, 2024.

Our lottery for the 2024-2025 school year was run on February 23, 2024.

Waitlist Applications reopened on April 8, 2024 and remained open through the end of the 2024 calendar year.

Withdrawal Information

Should an ERA student want to withdraw and enroll in a different school, the parent/guardian must complet the school's Withdrawal Form. Parents are required to list their student’s next school on the form at the time of withdrawal.  If the student will be homeschooled, the state issued homeschool identification number must be provided for the student to be withdrawn.   A records request for one of our current students from a new school can be considered a request for withdrawal and if a records request is received the records will be sent and that student will be withdrawn from ERA.
