ERA has created our Bobcat Annual Fund. If you aren’t aware, charter schools are not eligible for local bond funds. As a result, local and state funding only cover approximately 83% of our school budget. The Bobcat Annual Fund will help us bridge the gap between the funding shortage and what we need to continue making ERA an exceptional school.

This year, the goal for our Annual Fund is $25,000 and it will be used to support the school in many ways including curricular materials and consumables, professional development, teacher supplements, and countless other ways.

In the coming months, we will be highlighting activities using the funds, ways you can give, and why it’s important that we have an Annual Fund! You’ll hear from faculty and staff, students, board members, and parents about why it’s important to give. Please keep in mind that giving to the annual fund is optional, but we would love to have 100% participation. That level of participation will make us competitive for grants that require significant stakeholder support.
