I hope you all had an enjoyable fall break! Next week is spirit week and on Tuesday, October 31st we have an early release. K-8 will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. As a reminder, costumes are permitted but weapons and face masks are not.
We have our 2nd annual Trunk or Treat this Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the K-8 parking lot. Please come out and join us!
Here are this week’s updates and reminders:
1. Board of Directors Meeting: The October board meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:30 pm. Click here to join the meeting.
2. Caramel Apple Bar Teacher Appreciation: With your help, we would love to treat our teachers to a caramel apple bar on Friday, October 27. Sign up here and drop off items to Mrs. Triplett or Ms. Moore in the front office by Thursday, October 26. 3. Middle School Halloween Dance: 6-8th graders are invited to join us on Friday, October 27 from 5-7 pm for a costume party! $5 to get in and bring cash for snacks. Please sign up here to donate snacks, drinks, or your time to help set up and clean up.
4. Spirit Week: Join in the fun during Spirit Week! October 30-November 3.
October 30 – Crazy Hair or Hat Day: Show off your craziest hairstyle or best hat!
October 31 – Costume Day (no toy weapons or full face masks)
November 1 – Favorite Team Day: Wear gear for your favorite non-ERA team(s)!
November 2 – Twin Day or Rhyme Time Day: Collaborate with a friend and wear the same outfit or dress up to personify two things that rhyme (example: a dairy fairy).
November 3 – ERA Bobcat Spirit Day: Wear your Bobcat gear or ERA school colors to show school pride!
5. Original Works Fundraiser: We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with Original Works art-based fundraising!
Through the program, students have created artwork that you can have reproduced onto a variety of keepsake products. The products range from magnets to mugs and start at just $6.00.
Complete details on the program will be sent home Monday, October 23. Proceeds from the program will be used to purchase fun art supplies. For more information on Original Works please visit their website at www.originalworks.com

7. High School Athletics Update: Our fall athletic season is coming to a close and we are so proud of our student-athletes. Click here for the exciting updates!
8. Make-A-Wish Color Run: Please join Kids Helping Kids Club and sign up for the Make-A-Wish Color Run on January 6th at WRAL Soccer Park! Over the past 3 years, we have been able to help raise over $30,000 to provide wishes to 6 critically ill children. You can sign up to be a runner or a color thrower, with the option to join the Eno River Academy team or create your own. We hope you can come out and support this amazing cause!
