Weekly Update 10.30.23

Good afternoon,

I hope you all had a great weekend! Thank you to those who came out to Trunk or Treat! It was great seeing so many of you.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is an early release day! K-8 will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. We will not have our afterschool program so please make every effort to be on time.
Spirit Week is THIS week! Here are the days in case you’ve forgotten:
October 31 – Costume Day (no toy weapons or full face masks)
November 1 – Favorite Team Day: Wear gear for your favorite non-ERA team(s)!
November 2 – Twin Day or Rhyme Time Day: Collaborate with a friend and wear the same outfit or dress up to personify two things that rhyme (example: a dairy fairy).
November 3 – ERA Bobcat Spirit Day: Wear your Bobcat gear or ERA school colors to show school pride!
Here are this week’s updates and reminders:
1. Board of Directors Meeting: Our next board meeting will be held on November 14th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Feel free to join us at the high school or via this Zoom link.
2. Children’s Market: Every year, ERA students and clubs put on our Children’s Market! Applications are now available for students and clubs who would like to have a booth to sell handmade items or conduct a service project. Applications are due to Mrs. Hover with the $10 booth fee by Nov. 21. This year’s market will be on December 2 from 10-12 in the HS Gym!
3. Picture Retakes: School portrait retakes are scheduled for 11/15. If your student was absent on picture day they are automatically signed up for retakes. If your student would like to retake their photo, please sign up for retakes here using the same Event Code (FE8123) and PowerSchool ID.

Want to be featured in the yearbook? Email your photo submissions to yearbook@enoriveracademy.org and include all names and a short description for each photo. We need photos of the following:
    • Trunk or Treat and/or Halloween
    • Middle School Dance
    • Fall Fun! Pumpkin patches, apple picking, corn mazes, haunted houses, NC State Fair
    • Fall Break Trips and Adventures
    • Middle School extracurricular activities
    • K-8 Club Photos
  • We still have 2023 (last school year) yearbooks available! You can purchase one from the high school front office for $15 cash. Supplies are very limited so act fast!
  • School photos are now available to view and purchase. To view/purchase school portraits use the information below.
