Weekly Update 10.9.23

Good morning,

I hope you all enjoyed the cooler temps this weekend. We have an early release day this Friday. K-8 will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. In addition, we will have fall break the week of October 16-20. I hope you all enjoy the time off.
Here are this week’s updates and reminders:
1. Board of Directors Meeting: The October board meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:30 pm. Click here to join the meeting.
2. Caramel Apple Bar Teacher Appreciation: With your help, we would love to treat our teachers to a caramel apple bar on Friday, October 27.  Sign up here and drop off items to Mrs. Triplett or Ms. Moore in the front office by Thursday, October 26.  If you have any questions, please reach out to Kristin Martin at kmartin@enoriveracademy.org. Thank you!
3. Middle School Halloween Dance: 6-8th graders are invited to join us on Friday, October 27 from 5-7 pm for a costume party!  $5 to get in and bring cash for snacks.  Please sign up here to donate snacks, drinks, or your time to help set up and clean up.

4. Feedback please: Did you attend the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration?  Please give us some feedback on the event:  Hispanic Heritage Month Feedback 2023

5. Spirit Week: Join in the fun during Spirit Week! October 30-November 3.
October 30 – Crazy Hair or Hat Day: Show off your craziest hairstyle or best hat!
October 31 – Costume Day (no toy weapons or full face masks)
November 1 – Favorite Team Day: Wear gear for your favorite non-ERA team(s)!
November 2 – Twin Day or Rhyme Time Day: Collaborate with a friend and wear the same outfit or dress up to personify two things that rhyme (example: a dairy fairy).
November 3 – ERA Bobcat Spirit Day: Wear your Bobcat gear or ERA school colors to show school pride!
 
6. Yearbook Updates: Click here to purchase the 2024 yearbook
  • Want to be featured in the yearbook? Email your photo submissions to yearbook@enoriveracademy.org and include all names and a short description for each photo. We need photos of the following:
    • Fall Fun! Pumpkin patches, apple picking, corn mazes, haunted houses
    • Middle School Summer Adventures
    • Middle School Extracurricular activities
    • K-8 Club Photos
    • Pet photos
    • Spring 2023 Events: K-5 Field Day, K-8 promotion ceremonies, Girls on the Run
  • We still have 2023 (last school year) yearbooks available! You can purchase one from the high school front office for $15 cash. Supplies are very limited so act fast!
  • School photos will be available to view and purchase within the next couple of weeks. To view/purchase school portraits use the information below.
