Good afternoon ERA families,
As you may know, Lindsey Sealy (High School Principal) and I (Kristin Martin, Interim K-8 Principal) will be sharing the role of interim Executive Director while the School Hiring Committee gets to work on finding the right person for the job. We are quickly learning all of the ins and outs of Eno River Academy and are working hard to provide our new Executive Director a seamless transition to our amazing school. We look forward to serving in this capacity and welcome any questions or feedback you may have.

Updates:
Board of Directors Special Meeting: The board will hold a special virtual meeting on Wednesday, February 28th at 5:30 p.m. - click here to join. This meeting will focus on ED Hiring Task Force updates including voting on the job description created by the School Hiring Committee. While special board meetings do not include a public comment period, feel free to send any comments to board@enoriveracademy.org.
Athletics and Band Fundraiser: Please join us at Eno River Brewing from 3-9pm on Tuesday, March 5th. A percentage of proceeds will go to the athletic department and the band program. Please see the attached flier.
March Teacher Appreciation Event: We are collecting random prizes for our April Kudos Kart using this sign up genius. Some prize ideas are: cash, gift cards (Amazon, gas, food, Teachers pay Teachers, My Hot Lunchbox, etc), lottery tickets, snacks, candy bars, school supplies, hats, lanyards, socks, water bottles, coffee mugs, any fun things you can think of! These can be any amount. We will put a slip of paper with one prize printed on it and put it into a plastic egg. Teachers will then choose an egg and win the prize that is included! Please turn in prizes to the K-8 or High School office by March 20! Reach out to Kristin Martin at kmartin@enoriveracademy.org with any questions.
Early Release Day Camp - April 8: Please register here for the Solar Eclipse Early Release Day Camp on April 8, 2024. Cost is $25 per camper. Any questions can be directed to Ms. Heather at asp@enoriveracademy.org.

MS Performing Arts Presents The Little Mermaid: Our kids have been working super hard and are very excited to present the musical "The Little Mermaid Jr" on Wednesday, March 20th at 6pm. This musical will feature 54 of our 6th-8th grade performing arts students and it is going to be so much fun! The cost is $5 at the door and all the money raised will go to supporting our growing performing arts program. We hope to see you there!
