Due to this week's rescheduled soccer game conflict with the talent show and a lack of performers, the talent show is canceled.

Teacher Appreciation Week

As Teacher Appreciation Week fast approaches. . . We need YOUR Help to remind our Staff they are "FIRST CLASS!" This year we will be treating our first class staff to something special each day the week of May 6-10th such as snacks, breakfast, lunch, sweet treats and more!

We would really appreciate your support in helping some of these fun activities happen for the teachers. Sign up to help here:

We will be taking collections until Friday May 4th and will put gifts together for delivery on Friday May 10th. This will be a school wide collection from families to purchase gift cards for all members of our staff (teachers, administrators, specialists, etc) We are so grateful for any generosity towards showing our staff how much they are appreciated (and making the shopping easier on you!)

**Cash can be sent in an envelope with Julie Forrest - TAW (teacher appreciation week) on the front and turned into the HS or K-8 office.

Summer Learning Options

Summer educational opportunities are something we can offer to students in several different formats. Several of those options require cost from families to participate but we can help with families that need financial assistance as well. Please click the link below if you are interested in what these opportunities look like.

What you might have missed:

Kindness Day

On April 17th, The Fellowship of Christian Students is hosting Kindness Day. Kindness Day will be a whole day celebrating the life of Nick Brown and all of the kindness he spread in his time with us. FCS will be giving out food, flowers, notes, etc, and it is strongly encouraged that everyone participates in spreading kindness in one way or another. Any acts of kindness will be very much appreciated and will benefit our school community as a whole.

World Heritage Day: Please come join us on Wednesday, April 17th as the Spanish Honor Society hosts their 1st Annual World Heritage Day event. This will take place in the high school gym. There will be informational pieces prepared from our Spanish classes as well as other countries around the world. Students will have a chance to hear music, play games, read information, and taste test drinks and foods from other countries.

PROM

Prom will be on Friday, April 26, the theme is Masquerade Ball, at Starlight Meadow. Tickets go on sale today during lunch in Mrs. Jones Room. Here is a flyer with more information.

KONA ICE

KONA ICE TRUCK!!! The Kona Ice truck was such a huge success that we are doing it again!  Please come and support the seniors raising money for the first ever Senior's gift to the school. The Class of 2024 is raising money to purchase a trophy case and hopefully we can raise enough to get a snow cone machine for concessions.

The Kona Ice truck will be parked between the lower school and the high school on April 17th from 11:15 AM  to 1 PM.

Thanks for helping us give back to a school that has given us so much.
