Updates:

Tardy Policy: Please be sure to drop off, in the car line, by 8am. If you are dropping off after 8am, please walk your students into the office to sign them in at the new kiosk.

School Improvement Team:

Congratulations to our newly created School Improvement Team. Thank you to everyone who wanted to be involved. Information about the School Improvement Team can be found here. Our first meeting will take place September 3 at 4:00pm. This meeting is to review data to determine big goals for the school year. Should any stakeholder want to share data and/or ideas with the team, please do so by completing this form!

Covid Guidance Update: The CDCs latest guidance states that as long as a person's symptoms are improving and are fever free for 24 hours, they may return to school.  As always, please stay home with symptoms to mitigate the spread of all illnesses.

Doctor’s Notes: Please send all excused absence notes/emails to Ms. Triplett - ltriplett@enoriveracademy.org  She will update PowerSchool with absences and tardies.

2024-2025 Testing Calendar: EOGs and EOCs have been scheduled for this year and can be found HERE along with the Parent’s Right to Know Testing Information.  Please let Mrs. Martin or Mrs. Coburn know if you have any questions.

Board Retreat: ERA Board of Directors will hold their annual retreat on Wednesday August 28 from 4:00-8:30 p.m. at the High School.  With the exception of one special topic at the start, this meeting is a closed session and will not be open to the public.  The special topic is for the required board approval of an application for Title I and II funds.  The next regular board meeting which will be open to the public is scheduled for September 17 at 5:30 p.m..  In the meantime, if you have any feedback for the board, please email board@enoriveracademy.org.

TEACHER APPRECIATION ACTIVITIES - We are "Raising the BAR" this year!

We are excited to bring back more family involvement this year at ERA and one big area will be monthly staff appreciation events but we need YOUR HELP!

Our goal is to have a monthly lunch or treat for the staff so please check out the sign up genius for opportunities to volunteer and donate.

• MEETING - If you are interested in getting more involved we will be holding a planning meeting Thursday September 5th at 2:15PM at the lower school conference room. WE NEED YOUR HELP to make these activities happen and work towards re-establishing a PTO for our school.

PTO/Volunteering

If you are interested in volunteering for any opportunity at ERA this year, please fill out this form to let us know!

Medication:  If your student needs to take prescription medication during school hours, please review, complete, and sign this form that lets us know all the specific information.  We will also need the medication in a labeled prescription bottle in order to dispense.

Beginning of Year Paperwork for ALL STUDENTS

Families must complete the following forms for all students/families by August 16.  Please contact Mrs. Hover (mhover@enoriveracademy.org) with questions.

• Annual Proof of Residency requirement (one submission per family)

• Annual EDS data collection form (one submission per family)

• Annual Emergency Contact & Permissions form (one submission for EACH student)

• Optional: Preferred Name Change Form

Carpool

If you are available to assist ERA families in carpooling or would need assistance carpooling, please enter your information on this linked Google Document and use the information provided by others to set up carpools according to your needs. Administration will not monitor this document or assist in creating carpools.
